Comprehensive Examinations
The comprehensive examinations are scored by 2 faculty members. Faculty use the following rubrics for scoring the comprehensive examinations. The student must have an average score 3.0 to 4.0 for a full pass. If the student has a score of 2.0 to 2.99, it will be considered a conditional pass and the student will work with the advisor to rewrite some or all of the examination. A fail will be any score less than 2.0.
Students are encouraged to carefully review the following rubrics before, during and after they have completed their comps to ensure that they have met all program outcomes.
